Buckeye Fan Fights Fires in Washington DC
March 2, 2008

This comes from one of our site readers in the Capital City:

"I painted this leather helmet myself and got the leaves from Conrads and had the shield custom made. I work in Washington, DC as a fireman and wore it instead of my issued headgear on one call the next morning after the National Championship game over Miami. Everyone on the assignment got a good laugh except for the responding Battalion Chief. I asked one of the guys what crawled up his butt and he said that Chief was a die hard Wolverweasel and wanted it off of my head."

I'm not sure, but this helmet may look too good to take into a fire, you decide.  Our 'hats' go off to all firemen and women who serve our communities. - Gregg
