One of the great things about opening day is the inclusion of the Alumni Cheerleaders and Alumni Band.  Close to
1000 band members marched during the pre-game.
Ryan Pretorius (85) kicks off what we hope will be another championship season for the Buckeyes
Chris Wells (28) had several opportunities near the goal line but was not able to get past the Youngstown State defense
On the Buckeyes first drive, they moved the ball all the way down the field on three passes to Brian Robiskie (80)
After several rushing failures, OSU got on the board with a
3-yard TD pass to true Freshman Dane Sanzenbacher (12)
Youngstown State struggled to move the ball early, like when Ross Homan (51) and James Laurinaitis (33) made a Buckeye sandwich
When Louis Irizarry (81) was not catching one of his 4 receptions
he was blocking Anderson Russell (21)
Lawrence Wilson (87) had plans of a great season, starting with this sack on Penguin quarterback Tom Zetts (24)
Unfortunately his season has ended with a broken tibia
suffered a few plays later
Rob Schoenhoft (12) came in during the second quarter but
struggled to move the ball
There was plenty to cheer about in this 38-6 victory.
OSU's defensive line was though the entire game, only giving up
85 rushing yards on 34 attempts
As always, the marching band commonly known as TBDBITL, puts on a great show at halftime
SCRIPT OHIO (times 4)
