The Buckeyes were able to avoid the trend of upsets for the #1 ranked teams and soundly defeated the Spartans.  Chris 'Beanie' Wells had his breakout game, with 221 yards rushing.  This was the 9th highest total ever in the history of OSU running backs.  Most people thought the Buckeyes would start 8-0, then hit the meat of their schedule.  Well they accomplished the first part, lets see how well they handle these last four games.  4 wins still looks like a ticket to New Orleans.
