It was Michigan in 1996, it was Michigan State in 1998, and now Illinois in 2007. In the last 12 seasons, OSU has had the opportunity to play for the National Championship and missed out thanks to a home loss three times. They are not completely eliminated yet but it will take a lot of help to get to New Orleans now. The Illini simply outplayed the Buckeyes from start to finish and completely took over in the fourth quarter when it counted most. Will the scarlet and gray be able to regroup for the game against Michigan next week?
